Dear Mr. Pleva, A quick note to tell you of the very positive results I have found from you Cerise Facial lotion. A few months ago, I broke out with an extremely unpleasant facial rash… complete with maddening itching. I tried desperately to get into a dermatologists office and was told that it would be several weeks at best before anyone could see me. I bought several over-the-counter products with no results and ended up going to the emergency room as I was near the end of my wits with the problem. Finally, I was diagnosed with facial dermatitis (really???) and was prescribed a topical ointment that I was told would take care of the problem…no such luck! I would be remiss if I failed to let you know how please I am with your Total Body Rhythm Capsules. I have been diagnosed with a torn rotator cuff & rupture in March of last year and was advised by my doctor that surgery would be required to correct the problem and ultimately ease the pain. Since I wasn’t looking forward to the twelve month rehab period, I decided to postpone the surgery until fall. We have been treating our seven year old son for frost bite the past two years. The tops of both hands had a cracked white leather appearance. This would occur in the fall through the spring. We had tried several products the pediatrician recommend. The hand lotions showed no healing effects. We decided to try Cerise Hand and Body Lotion. I would like to thank you for your Cerise (Total Body Rhythm Capsules). It’s important for you to understand how my life with Crohn’s began and where I am today. The high’s the low’s of Crohn’s Disease can test a persons will, determination, depression, tears, and laughter. This is usually been put to the test by 10 a.m. each day.
I was diagnosed in the spring of 1990, while building our first home 5 months before our wedding. We never really understood the severity of the disease at the time, there was too many other things preoccupying my time. I was immediately put on steroids of which I remained on and off for the next 5 years. In the fall of 1995 the disease got the best of me and I was in and out of the hospital until January 1996. I came home after 5 surgeries missing 2 feet of my small bowel but, gaining my new friend a colostomy. I was only to have the colostomy for 3 months and then the doctors were going to reverse the procedure and I could go on with my life. It was the spring of 1998 before I build up the courage to take on the surgery and the one week hospital stay that would follow.
I was off all medication for three years. Life was good until a relapse in 2001. In 2001 I was put back on steroids, Remicade, and multiple other medications. The problem wasn’t so much in my intestines as it was in my rectum. I had multiple anal fistulas and the pain was unbearable. The first surgery helped for about 4 months until things went really bad. The doctors decided to take a more evasive surgery that would require a reconstruction of the rectum. Basically, I had an open six inch wound that was left open to heal from the inside out. Through it all I was determined to keep working and keep my mind of my disease. I did miss 1 week of work right after the surgery but, we kept plugging along. The surgery was a success and I have not had any more problems since.
Two years ago the pain in my small bowel returned and it was determined there was a small diseased section in my small bowel. The frustration of living with pain each and every day emotionally is very draining. The constant feeling of despair, lack of energy, and constant exhaustion is trying for any individual. I didn’t want to fail at anything but most of my energy was put towards my career. The end of the day there was no time for anything or anyone including my family. Without the support of my wife Michelle I believe I would have never survived. Thanks to her for all she’s done and put up with these past 18 years.
November of 2008 started another rough cycle. Two weeks of testing had left me feeling worse than ever before. December of 2008 was one of the most painful times I have ever had. The pain was 24hrs. a day, as if a knife was being twisted in my stomach. I lived on pain pills just to function. This is no life for anyone and things needed to change. It was January 09, 2009 when Michelle brought home the Cerise capsules. Within 10 days I was feeling different. I wasn’t as tired and had more energy. I am no longer in need of pain pills and haven’t felt this good in a long time. I am still currently taking my medications along with Cerise but, I planning on talking with my doctor about coming of the medications. Currently, I am taking 75mg of Mercaotopurine (6-MP) and Imodium to help control the diarrhea.
